Problem Note 51985: The SAS® SVC that is provided with SAS® 9.4 TS1M0 and SAS® 9.4 TS1M1 is not backward compatible with the SAS/SHARE® 8.1 server

The SAS SVC that is provided with SAS 9.4 TS1M0 and SAS 9.4 TS1M1 is not backward compatible with the SAS/SHARE 8.1 server. If the SAS/SHARE 8.1 server uses the SAS 9.4 SVC, the server fails to start, and a user 984 abend occurs.
If necessary, keep an earlier version of the SAS SVC installed on your system using a different ESR entry code or user SVC number to support your SAS/SHARE server.
